Dark cream paper with laid lines visible. Some leaves dyed in orange. A few marginal annotations. Waqf (see inscription on the upper margin of fol. 1b, 2a, etc.). Some leaves are later replacements on glazed Europeans paper with watermark (see fol. 11). First fol. mended. Some pages are hardly legible.The date 900 H. [1494 or 5] is written by another hand on fol. 123a.Incipit: قال الشيخ الامام ... ابو عبد الله محمد بن محمد بن يعقوب الكومي شيخ مشايخ الطريقة وامام ايمة الحقيقة ... خير ما صدرت به الصحف الالهيات واشتملت عليه فواتح الزبر الاقدسيات حمد من احاط علمه بالجليات والخفيات ... [3أ] ... وبعد فاولي ما ارتسم فى الواح الاذهان وطرق اسماع ذوي العرفانExplicit: واله الغر الكرام انهم اتقي العباد للاله وابر وصحبه الذين قاموا دونه حتى انطوي من الضلال ما انتشر قال مصنف هذا الكتاب ... من اراد الوقوف على كتابي هذا المسمى بتيسير المطالب فليستخير الله تعالى ... [124أ] ... الهي علم بالقلم ثم ليصل على النبي ... فان الله يفتح له بابا الى فهم معانيه بمنه وكرمه وحسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد وعلى اله وصحبه وسلم - Unbound. - Treatise on ʻilm al-ḥurūf, with tables and charts. At the end of the text, recommendation by the author on the prayers the reader should make before reading this book (fol. 123a-124a). Two magical prayers attributed to Ibn al-ʻArabī and to Suyūṭī by another hand on fol. 125a. Recipe for maʻjūn al-thawm on fol. 125b.
