(colophon, fol. 36a).Incipit: الحمد لله الذى خلق كل شيء بقدر وقدّر له ما يليق به من اشكال وصور والصلوة على من تمّ بمقدمه رسم دائرة الرسالة والتشريع ... اما بعد فان الهندسة مع متانة مسائلها و وثاقة دلائلها بحيث لا ياتيها الباطل من بين يديها ولا من خلفها علم يحتاج اليه الكملة المتفكرون فى خلق السموات والارض ...
