Glazed European paper with watermark Illuminated headpiece (ʻunwān) in gold, black and red on fol. 1b. Gold and black frame on the two first pages of the text (fol. 1b-2a). Note on the number of ḥadīth contained in this book and on biographic details about its author added by another hand after the colophon (fol. 263a). First fol. mended, with portions of the original fol. enclosed in a modern repair.
