The covers have a central panel defined by fillets with a border consisting of two running patterns, one with small gold stamped dots. The panel is heavily tooled, with a geometrical pattern developing from a central twelve pointed star. Gold stamped dots. Similar geometrical pattern on the envelope flap, with a medallion filled with a six pointed star. Rebacked ; fore-edge flap is a later replacement. Modern paper pastedowns. - Collection of ḥadīth arranged by topics. According to the end of this copy, the work was completed in Muḥarram 667 [1268].
