Blind-stamped mandorla with pendants, corner and edge designs, and decorative edging on covers. Similar decoration on flap. Gold-sprinkled orange paper pastedowns. Both volumes in a single case (217 x 135 mm) - A commentary on Tanwīr al-abṣār wa-jāmiʻ al-biḥār. The author states in the preface that after composing the first volume of a commentary entitled Khazāʼin al-asrār wa-badāʼiʻ al-afkār, he found that it would be ten volumes; so he composed this present abridged work.
