Notes in a modern hand on smaller pieces of paper between fol. 58 and 59 and between fol. 79 and 80.Copied in the Madrasah al-Nāṣirīyah in Cairo (al-Qāhirah) by Yaḥyá [...] in Dhū al-Ḥijjah 795 (colophon, fol. 188a).Collation: Paper, fol. 188 ; 1-18¹⁰ 19⁸ ; the last words of the verso are recopied on the next recto.Incipit: بسم ... صلى االه ... قال الامام العلامة سعد الدين التفتازانى رحمه الله الحمد لله الذي وفقنا الوصول الى شمس اصول الشريعة ... وبعد كما ان المختصر للشيخ الامام جمال الملة والدين ابن الحاجبExplicit: ما فيه جهتان الى غير ذلك من التفاصيل وهذا معنى قوله وفيما ذكر ارشاد لذلك والحمد لله رب العالمين والله الهادى سبيل الرشاد والمسئول لنيل العصمة والشراد ولاحول ولا قوة الا بالله العليم العظيم - Brown leather over paper pasteboards. The upper and lower covers are similarly blind-tooled with a central roundel with extensions in the vertical axis. Outer frame of fillets (partly covered by a later repair). - Gloss on the commentary by ʻAḍud al-Dīn al-Ījī (d. 756/1355) on the Mukhtaṣar al-Muntahā, a treatise on the sources of law (uṣūl al-fiqh) according to the Mālikī school by ʻUthmān ibn ʻUmar Ibn al-Ḥājib (d. 646/1249).
