The text is framed within two red lines up to fol. 30b. Light cream paper, glossy, with laid lines visible. Marginal annotations. Several inscriptions on fol. 1a-5a, including verses of poetry, short excerpts from several texts, and ownership statements.Origin: Copy completed on 26 Shaʻbān 754 [Sept. 26, 1353] (colophon, fol. 63b).Incipit: الحمد لمن وجب وجوده وبقائه وامتنع عدمه وفناءه دل على وجوده ارضه وسماءه ... وبعد فان اعظم المعلوم موضوعا واقومها اصولا وفروعا واقوتها حجة ودليلا واجلتها محجة وسبيلا هو العلم الكافل بابراز اسرار اللاهوتExplicit: فله محامل وتاويلات ومع ذلك فلا يعادل ما ورد في مناقبهم وحكى عن اثارهم نفعنا الله بمحبتهم اجمعين وجعلنا لهديهم متبعين وعصمنا عن زيغ الضالين وبعثنا يوم الدين فى عداد الهادين بفضله العظيم وفيضه العميم انه جواد كريم رؤف رحيم - Brown leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers.
