After the colophon and on 53 following folios are several historical extracts containing excerpts from Ṭabaqāt al-umam of Ibn Ṣāʻid, A.D. 1071, a short treatise entitled Dhikr taghallub al-Faranj ʻalá Bayṭ al-Maqdis which discusses the Crusadersʼ conquest of Jerusalem and other places, a description of the Aqṣá Mosque in Jerusalem and other historical notes.
