Edges are moldered, and there are a few stains and marginal paper repairs.Origin: Completed toward the end of the first ten days of Jumādá II 1216 H [October 1801] in Karbalāʼ, by Maḥmūd ibn ʻAbd Allāh ibn Aḥmad Qazwīnī al-aṣl Karbalāʼī al-maskan; copied from the original manuscript in the author's hand (leaf 235a).Incipit: الحمد لله ... كتاب العتق وهو لغة الخلوص ومنه سمي البيت عتيقا لخلوصه من يدي الجبابرة - Full brown leather with blind-stamped central mandorla, pendants, and fillets; red paper doublures. - Part of a commentary on al-Muḥaqqiq al-Ḥillī's al-Mukhtaṣar al-nāfiʻ, comprising kitāb al-ʻitq through kitāb al-qaḍāʼ.
