Thick cream glazed paper with "three crescents" watermark.Origin: Copied by Aḥmad Yūsuf al-Zuhayrī al-Saʻdī and completed on the 14th of Ṣafar 1224 (1809) -- colophon (fol. 109b).Incipit:الحمد لله فالق اطوار البشر وفاتق انواع ازهار اكمام الثمر ... وبعد فهذه رسالة في بيان طريق السادة السعديه تخبر عن اصل طريقهم ورد المنكر عليهمExplicit: ولاتك تشكك فيه تهلك وتندم ويا رب صل علي النبي محمد واصحابه والال جمعاً وسلم - Half leather with envelope flap. Covers and the envelope flap are in a decorative paper, cream with a flower pattern painted in green and grey. Brown leather on spine, fore edge flap and, decorated with blind fillets, around edges of covers. Pastedowns and lining to the envelope flap in yellow paper. Lining to the fore edge flap in brown leather. - A treatise on the Saʻdīyah order (a branch of the Rifāʻīyah).
