Thick light cream paper with no lines visible. The original two first fol. have been glued together (see mention "Dāl" on the upper margin of fol. 1b). Collation notes. A few notes by later hands on smaller pieces of paper pasted or placed between the original leaves (see between fol. 20 and 21, 32 and 33, 35 and 36, etc.). Fol. 39bis is a later replacement on European paper with watermark. Catchword on the verso of each leaf. Pagination in black ink using abjad on the middle of the upper margin. Foliation in black ink using Arabic numerals. Inscription "940" in Arabic numerals on fol. 212b. Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "ʻUlūm ...? 7". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "Ḥāʼ 555".Copy completed on Saturday 6 Jumādá al-Awwal(!) 869 (colophon, fol. 209a).
