Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "887 Ḥāʼ".Incipit: الحمد لله الذى جعل السلطان غياثا للمستغيثين ... وبعد فيقول ... انى كنت برهة من الزمان ومدة من الاوانExplicit: لا يخفى على الفطرة هذا آخر ما قصدنا من ايراده فى هذه الرسالة جعلته انموذجا لتلك العلوم ... وآله وصحبه اجمعين تم - Paper over paper pasteboards for lower and upper covers. Red paper pastedown and fly-leaf. - Questions concerning several matters. This treatise comprises also a list of the shaykh of al-Dawwānī and a list of his works.
