Blind-stamped mandorla and decorative blind-tooled edging on covers. Only a portion of the flap remains. - Selections, possibly from the Kitāb al-Majālis by Ibn al-Nuʻmān al-Baghdādī al-Mufīd. The work deals with the creation of heaven and earth, the elements, geography, animal life, precious stones, the inhabitants of the world and history.
