Notlar Ms. codex.Title from fol. 8a.Copy completed on the first day of Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1060 ["hazār shaṣt ū"] (1650) -- colophon (fol. 340a).19 lines per page. Written in small nastaʻlīq in black ink with use of red for rubrication. Foliation in Arabic numerals in black ink and in Western numerals in pencil. Glazed cream paper with visible laid lines, except for fol. 91-102 which are replacements on light cream glazed European paper. Few marginal annotations. Tables of contents in black and red ink on fol. 4b (original) and ff. 5b-7a (later addition). Title "Shirah-i Nokaia" written below the first title on fol. 8a.Incipit: يقول العبد المتوسل الى الله تع باقوى الذريعة عبيد الله بن مسعود بن تاج الشريعة ... هذا حل المواضع المغلقة من وقاية الرواية فى مسائل الهدايةExplicit: ومع ذلك يباح التناول اعتمادا على الغايب - Burgundy leather. Covers decorated with single gold line around edges and small sprigs as corner pieces. Doublures in same burgundy leather. - A commentary on Wiqāyat al-riwāyah fī masāʼil al-Hidāyah, a work on fiqh by the author's grandfather, Maḥmūd ibn Ṣadr al-Sharīʻah al-Maḥbūbī (d. 1274 or 5). As for the work itself, Wiqāyat al-riwāyah is an epitome of the work called al-Hidāyah by ʻAlī ibn Abī Bakr al-Marghīnānī (d. 1196 or 7).
