European paper. Short saying attributed to al-Imām Mālik on fol. 2a. The text is followed on fol. 130b by several short texts and inscriptions apparently by the same hand as the main text. Transfer of ink and corrosion (particularly at the end of the volume).Origin: Copy completed in ---5(?) (colophon, fol. 130a). Yahuda and Mach infer from the title on fol. 2a that this is an autograph copy.Incipit: الحمد لله رب العالمين وصلى الله وسلّم على سيدنا محمد وعلى اله وصحبه اجمعين كلا ذكرك الذاكرون وعقل عن ذكره الغافلون يقول العبد الفقير الفاني عبد الباقي بن يوسف الزرقاني اسعدهما الله نعوز الاماني هذا شرح لطيف على شرح خطبة الشيخ خليل العلامة الشيخ ناصر الدين اللقاني جمعته من شرح شيخنا العلامة الشيخ علي الاحموري على الخطبة المذكورة على وجه الاختصار مشيرا له بعج ومن خط والدي ومن حاشية العلامة الشيخ احمد الزرقاني محشي المختصر على هذا التعليقة مشيرا له بصورة د ... فقلت لما كان تاليف هذا الكتاب لما حرف وجود لوجود تختص بالماضي وتقتضي جملتين وجدت ثانيتهما عند وجود الاولىExplicit: فجارا استعماله في التعجب(؟) عن شي يستحيل كونه(؟) بجعل جاعل نحو ما اقدر الله وما اعلمه انتهى وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد وعلى اله وصحبه وسلم - Gloss on the commentary by Naṣīr al-Dīn al-Laqānī (d. 958/1551) on the Khuṭbah of al-Mukhtaṣar, a treatise on Islamic law according to the Mālikī school by Khalīl ibn Isḥāq al-Jundī (d. 767/1365).
