The name of the copyist is obliterated. In the introduction the author states that he composed this book at the request of Aḥmad ibn Maḥmūd ibn ʻAlī al-Juwaynī, and that in composing his book he imitated al-Zamakhshariʼs Aṭwāq al-dhahab. On the inside of the front cover are a charm for detecting foot-prints and the shahādah.Ms. codex.Origin: According to colophon copied Monday 6 Rajab 1039 (fol. 47a).Title from title page (fol. 1a).Colophon: تمت نهار الاثنين في ستة خلة [خلت] من شهر رجب سنة 1039 ... ولمن قرأ له سورة الفاتحة وللمسلمين اجمعين امينIncipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم وهو حسبي. اللهم انّا نحمدك على ما اسبلت من جلابيب کرمك - Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in brown leather and white paper. Endbands. - A collection of 102 original discourses on religious, moral and social topics, an imitation of the Aṭwāq al-dhahab of al-Zamakhsharī.
