Notlar Ms. codex.Title from fol. 6a.31 lines per page. Written in clear medium small naskh in black ink with use of red. European glazed paper. Catchword on the verso of each leaf. The quires are numbered using Arabic numerals (see fol. 16a). Collation notes on the margins. Fol. 1-5 are a later addition with a table of contents. Foliation in red ink using Arabic numerals (starts on the first fol. of the text, fol. 6). Foliation in pencil using Western numerals (omits a fol. between fol. 76 and 77).Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "ʻAqāʼid 39".Incipit: سبحان من تقدست سبحات جماله عن سمة الحدوث والزوال ... اما بعد فان انفع المطالب حالا ومالا ... [7أ] ... واقول ضمن المصنف تغمده الله تعالى بغفرانه خطبة كتابه الاشارة الى مقاصد علم الكلامExplicit: قال المص وليكن هذا اخر الكلام ... انه هو الغفور الرحيم والجواد الكريم وانا اقول هذا ما تيسر لنا بعون الله وحسن توفيقه من كشف مشكلاته وتوضيح معضلاته وتحرير مسائله وتقرير دلايله ... وجعله دخرا لنا يوم الدين انه خير موفق ومعين قال الشارح قد وافق الفراغ من تاليفه ... فى اوايل شوال سنة سبع وثمان ماية بمحروسة سمرقند ... حسبنا الله ... اللهم ارحم بجميع المومنين والمومنات والمسلمين والمسلمات - Brown leather over paper pasteboards for upper and lower covers, fore-edge flap and envelope flap. Both covers have a central stamped mandorla and an outer border made of fillets. Similar border on the envelope flap with a smaller stamp on its pointe. The fore-edge flap has a similar border. Paper pastedowns. The binding is damaged so that the paper used for the pasteboards is visible. - Commentary on Kitāb al-Mawāqif by ʻAḍud al-Dīn al-Ījī (d. 756/1355). The commentary was completed in the beginning of Shawwāl 807 (see end of text, fol. 343b).
