Notlar	Ms. codex.Title from inscription in red ink on fol. 1a.17 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh with elements of taʻlīq in black ink with use of red for entries and headings. The text is partly vocalized. Ligh cream paper with laid and chain lines visible. The quires (mainly quinions) have catchwords on the verso of each leaf. A few marginal notes by another hand as the main text. On fol. 1a: Table with letters of the Arabic alphabet with a short sentence linked to each of them, the first reading "ẓā : yanāl maṭlubahu wa-mafqūdah". Fol. 2a has inscriptions faded due to water damage.Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on fol. 1a: "Ḥāʼ 138/2".Copy completed in 846 H. (colophon, fol. 55a).Incipit: الحمد لله رب العالمين والعاقبة للمتقين ولا عدوان الا على الظالمين والصلوة على محمد وآله اجمعين قال ابو بكر محمد بن عزيز السجستانى رحمه الله هذا تفسير غريب القرآن المؤلّف على حروف المعجم ليقرب تناوله ويسهل تحفّظه على من اراد وبالله التوفيق والعون باب الهمزة المفتوحة آمين يمدّ ويقضرExplicit: باب الياء المكسورة قيل ليس فى العربية كلمة اولها يآء مكسورة الّا يِسارٌ ويسارٌ لليد والله اعلم واحكم بالصواب واليه المرجع والماب تم الكتاب - Only the lower cover is extant. It consists of paper over paper pasteboards with brown leather edges. Disbound. - Treatise explaining difficult words used in the Qurʼān, arranged in alphabetical order. The text is followed on fol. 55b by a short text written by the same hand, apparently a prayer, with some letters written in red. A leaf is pasted on the pastedown of the lower cover with several fāʼidah, on the virtues of writing and qalam, on the words "Lā ilāha illā Llāh", etc.
