Written in medium large Maghribī script, in red ink for the commented text, and in black ink for the commentary ; yellow outlined in black for titles of sūrah. Occasional circular signs for ḥizb on the margin, consisting of concentric circles in black ink with four groups of three dots on the outer line (see fol. 154a, 160a). European paper (friable). Inscriptions in Roman script in pencil on the pastedown of the upper cover: "IL 58a" and "350 pp".
