A statement in the text on folio 2 says that the present work is a redaction from several previous commentaries on al-Tawzariʼs ode., Ms. codex., Origin: According to colophon copied al-Aḥad 21 Dhū al-Ḥijjah 1112 by Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad Khilāf (fol. 35b)., Title from text (fol. 2a), Colophon: نجزت تلك النسخة، المبارکة في يوم الاحد حادي عشرين شهر ذي الحجة الحرام ختام سنة الف وماية واثنتي عشرة على يد العبد الفقير الراجي من الله تعالى الامن مما يخاف محمد بن محمد خلاف غفر الله له ولوالد[ه] ولمشايخه ولاخوانه ولوالديهم ولجميع المسلمين والمسلمات والمؤمنين والمؤمنات الاحياء منهم والاموات وصلى الله على سيدنا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه وسلّم والحمد لله رب العالمين آمين, Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم. قال سيدنا ومولانا | Contemporaneous? quarter-bound type III binding (without flap) in brown leather and brown marbled paper.
